Why

Why an Advanced Clinical Anatomy Association? Well, once understood what means Advanced Clinical Anatomy, several questions arise, such as:

  • Which are the resources at our disposal to access and go forward in this field?
  • Where can we find them?
  • Who can help and assist us when we  this are in this area of knowledge?
  • Where can we find people with whom to share, discuss and elaborate our ideas about clinical anatomy?

This is a short listing of large number of questions that comes to us when dealing with the application of anatomy to our clinical practice.

So, we need an instrument to help us answer this and other questions, and with this idea in mind we gave birth to the Advanced Clinical Anatomy Association.

Is ACAA the only entity devoted to this activity? Of course not! You can find around the world academic, professional and scientific organisations dedicated to anatomy, to surgical anatomy, to clinical anatomy, specifically devoted to particular issues and aimed to different areas of activity.

So we don’t intend to replace any of them. The vast majority are very good and solid, and are a very nice help for everybody. Our primary aim is to provide a place where all interested people can meet and search, find if possible, construct when needed and share allways all available tools and information about clinical anatomy
